This coffee comes to us from our relationship with Aida Batlle, now entering into its second full year. She has worked with her friend and neighbor Salvador Gross, along with his son and grandson, to bring this coffee to the United States.

The farm was abandoned when Don Salvador bought it, and as such, he established a long term plan in order to re-plant the whole farm, replanting a small area every year. For that reason, most of the trees are young and healthy.

Taking care of wildlife is very important to Don Salvador, so all the agronomic products use at the farm do not harm wildlife such as rabbits, deers, birds, and more. Hunting is prohibited at the farm.

Don Salvador makes sure there is work to provide to the family living at the farm, as well as for people that live in the area, respecting their labor work hours and having medical-health campaigns. There is a school located in the area where children from workers and the community attend, and to which donations are made. Donations are also made in order to celebrate festivities such as Children’s Day, Mother’s Day, and Christmas celebrations.

Don Salvador is committed to sustain quality in his farms and in the surrounding community.

All coffee is roasted to order every Monday and shipped the following day through USPS priority mail unless otherwise specified.
